Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Healthcare Economics Consultant will analyze provider reimbursement arrangements and network pricing models, support the development of pricing methodologies, and perform financial modeling to enhance provider network strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze provider reimbursement arrangements, fee schedules, and network pricing models
- Support the development and maintenance of pricing methodologies for various reimbursement arrangements
- Prepare pricing analyses and recommendations to support provider negotiations and strategic initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field
- 2+ years of analytical experience in healthcare pricing, managed care, or provider reimbursement
- Experience working with healthcare claims and reimbursement methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling
- Knowledge of various healthcare payment methodologies, including fee-for-service and value-based payment models
