Healthcare Edit Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Edit Research Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content rules based on regulatory changes and other considerations
• Review and analyze regulatory guidelines and coding changes for impact on the rules database
• Provide technical requirements to the programming team and manage customer communications

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the U.S. healthcare industry
• Understanding of hospital and physician customer relations
• Basic knowledge of coding methodologies, including ICD-10 and CPT
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Health Information Management
