Healthcare Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Serving as a welcoming anchor for the practice, the full-time remote Healthcare Intake Specialist will manage patient appointment scheduling, capture accurate intake data, and assist patients with telehealth setups while ensuring continuity of care through effective communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm new patient appointments via phone, email, and scheduling systems
• Collect, verify, and organize patient intake information accurately
• Document all interactions and updates in the EMR system promptly

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated call center experience handling high-volume calls
• Prior telehealth experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Medicare and insurance concepts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex information flows
• Experience working with the elderly population with patience and empathy
