Healthcare Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support a fast-paced healthcare environment, the full-time temporary Healthcare Intake Specialist will manage inquiries, authorizations, and service requests while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Process requests and inquiries via multiple communication channels, ensuring documentation accuracy
• Verify member benefits and eligibility, while maintaining and updating service requests
• Provide timely communication and support to internal and external customers, documenting all interactions appropriately

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in a related field, specifically with Medicare and health insurance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with triage workflows is preferred
• Pharmaceutical knowledge or industry exposure is a plus
