Job Summary
Serving as the organization's technical authority, the full-time remote Enterprise Healthcare Interoperability & Automation SME will provide expertise in healthcare interoperability and electronic data interchange (EDI), guiding modernization initiatives and ensuring standards compliance across various healthcare programs.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on healthcare interoperability and EDI standards across multiple initiatives
- Interpret and translate healthcare transaction standards into reusable engineering assets and business rules
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement AI-assisted automation and improve interoperability workflows
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Ten years of experience, including seven years in healthcare interoperability or EDI transaction processing
- Demonstrated expertise with ANSI X12 healthcare transaction standards and implementation guides
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims, eligibility, and interoperability workflows
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on integration initiatives
