Healthcare Investigations Manager

Job Summary

Owning the intake, triage, and investigation of hotline reports, the full-time Healthcare Investigations Manager will build the necessary structure for this function while managing a small team and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and security policies in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of reported concerns and manage the response and corrective-action workflow
• Perform monthly exclusion screenings against federal and state exclusion lists to mitigate organizational risk
• Prepare quarterly reports on investigations and disclosures for senior leadership and the Compliance Committee/Board

Required qualifications

• Experience managing a healthcare investigations or hotline function in a compliance or regulatory setting
• Direct experience investigating HIPAA/Security Policy violations in coordination with an IT Security team
• Hands-on experience administering a compliance case-management or hotline platform
• Familiarity with OIG guidance, particularly Elements 4 and 7
• CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) preferred
