Healthcare IT Consultant
Job Summary
To support healthcare IT initiatives, the remote Intermediate 1 / Consultant 1 - Healthcare IT / Oracle Cerner will manage clinical and laboratory workflows, support EHR and LIS implementations, and serve as a liaison among various stakeholders while ensuring workflow optimization and application sustainment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize laboratory clinical and business workflows across various environments
- Support design and validation activities for Oracle Cerner Millennium and PathNet
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and identify workflow improvements
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, particularly with laboratory operations
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cerner Millennium and Cerner PathNet
- Experience in supporting EHR or LIS implementations and migrations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of HL7 concepts and healthcare interfaces
