Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Consultant, the remote position focuses on supporting Oracle Cerner Millennium and PathNet implementations, optimizing clinical and laboratory workflows, and serving as a liaison among laboratory end users, EHR vendors, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize laboratory clinical and business workflows across various environments
- Support design and build validation activities for Oracle Cerner Millennium and PathNet
- Gather and document requirements, facilitating workshops with stakeholders for workflow improvements
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT, particularly in clinical or operational roles
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Cerner Millennium and Cerner PathNet
- Experience with EHR or LIS implementations and migrations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Informatics, Computer Science, Healthcare, or related fields
- Strong understanding of HL7 concepts and laboratory result flows
