Healthcare IT Contracts Attorney

Job Summary

To support its In-House Healthcare legal team, a part-time Healthcare IT Contracts Attorney will manage a high volume of IT, commercial, and healthcare-related contracts remotely, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and providing business-oriented guidance on agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, and BAAs.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate high-volume agreements including MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and BAAs
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, particularly HIPAA, and manage data privacy and security considerations
• Provide business-oriented legal guidance on the intersection of IT contracts and healthcare regulations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of legal experience in commercial contracting within healthcare or healthcare technology
• Demonstrated experience with drafting and negotiating various agreements
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA and PHI handling
• Familiarity with the interconnection of IT contracts with HIPAA
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
