Job Summary
To support state Medicaid agencies and healthcare clients, the full-time Healthcare Policy Consultant will manage complex Medicaid policy projects, develop innovative solutions, and communicate results effectively in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support state Medicaid agencies with program strategy, design, development, and implementation
- Conduct analysis of legislation and regulations, helping clients obtain necessary federal authorities
- Develop thought leadership pieces and maintain subject matter expertise in Medicaid policy
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience with state Medicaid agencies, CMS, or related consulting experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy, Public Affairs, Public Health, or related field
- Experience leading complex Medicaid policy projects
- Specific regulatory experience in Medicaid managed care or financing policy
