Healthcare Policy Director
Job Summary
As a full-time remote opportunity, the Head of Policy will manage Stedi's interoperability and policy strategy, build government affairs programs, and lead engagement with standards bodies to shape healthcare interoperability policy.
Key responsibilities
- Own and prioritize Stedi's interoperability and related policy strategy in collaboration with executive leadership
- Establish stakeholder relationships and frameworks to position Stedi as a credible voice in healthcare policy
- Lead proactive participation in standards bodies and advocate for regulatory changes with federal and state agencies
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in health policy, regulatory affairs, or standards work, preferably with CMS, HHS, or similar organizations
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA Administrative Simplification, X12 transaction sets, and CAQH CORE operating rules
- Established credibility and a network within the healthcare policy landscape
- Proven track record of driving concrete outcomes in policy or regulatory changes
- Strong writing skills for drafting comment letters, proposals, and regulatory language
