Healthcare Product Owner

Job Summary

To stabilize and improve end-to-end Prior Authorization operations, the contract Healthcare Lead Product Owner will manage program delivery across clinical, technical, and operational teams while working remotely during Eastern Time core hours.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Prior Authorization program delivery, coordinating across multiple workstreams
• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and management, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Identify and resolve breakdowns in the PA/claims process, implementing corrective actions in collaboration with clinical and IT teams

Required qualifications

• Deep end-to-end Prior Authorization expertise with 15+ years in payer operations or healthcare delivery
• 8-10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or equivalent in a healthcare environment
• Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives and drive outcomes to closure
• Strong knowledge of FACETS and GuidingCare, particularly in claims-to-operations matching
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
