Job Summary
To support the Department of Veteran Affairs, the full-time Healthcare Recruiter will recruit, screen, and hire nurses and other healthcare professionals while implementing independent strategies to build a strong candidate pool and maintain relationships with field staff.
Key responsibilities
- Implement independent recruiting strategies to evaluate and select healthcare workers based on client needs
- Cultivate a network of potential candidates and utilize various tools to expand recruitment efforts
- Negotiate compensation packages and ensure compliance with credentialing requirements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or four years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare recruiting
- Experience supporting recruitment for large healthcare or hospital systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting regulations and practices
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media recruitment sources
