Healthcare Recruiter

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veteran Affairs, the full-time Healthcare Recruiter will recruit, screen, and hire nurses and other healthcare professionals while implementing independent strategies to build a strong candidate pool and maintain relationships with field staff.

Key responsibilities

• Implement independent recruiting strategies to evaluate and select healthcare workers based on client needs
• Cultivate a network of potential candidates and utilize various tools to expand recruitment efforts
• Negotiate compensation packages and ensure compliance with credentialing requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare recruiting
• Experience supporting recruitment for large healthcare or hospital systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting regulations and practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media recruitment sources
