Job Summary

To support the Department of Veteran Affairs, the full-time Healthcare Recruiter will recruit, screen, negotiate, and hire physicians and other healthcare professionals, implementing independent strategies to build a strong candidate pool and maintain relationships with field staff.

Key responsibilities
  • Implement independent recruiting strategies to evaluate healthcare workers based on client needs
  • Cultivate a network of potential healthcare workers and generate referrals to meet company goals
  • Negotiate compensation packages and ensure candidate files comply with credentialing requirements
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare recruiting
  • Experience supporting recruitment for a large healthcare or hospital system
  • Comprehensive knowledge of recruiting regulations, policies, and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with social media recruitment sources
