Job Summary
Providing comprehensive legal counsel on healthcare regulatory matters, the full-time remote Healthcare Regulatory Counsel will advise business units and leadership on federal and state regulatory requirements, compliance risk management, and regulatory strategy while managing complex regulatory assignments with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret federal and state healthcare laws and regulations affecting the organization
- Advise on regulatory requirements and compliance obligations across the enterprise
- Conduct regulatory risk assessments for new products and operational changes, providing legal analysis and counsel
Required Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with 10+ years of professional legal experience
- Admission to at least one state bar, with the ability to be certified in Florida as Authorized House Counsel
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulatory frameworks including HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare provider regulations and compliance programs
- Proven ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and develop practical compliance solutions
