Healthcare Regulatory Counsel

Job Summary

As the Associate General Counsel, Healthcare, the full-time remote position will own the regulatory landscape for healthcare, pharmacy, and digital health, ensuring compliance while supporting business growth through strategic legal advice and operationalization of legal tools.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Regulatory Roadmap by serving as the primary legal authority for healthcare and pharmacy regulatory matters
• Architect Healthcare Compliance by developing and overseeing OpenLoop's healthcare compliance program
• Lead Strategic Regulatory Engagement through outreach strategies, regulatory filings, and responses to government inquiries

Required qualifications

• J.D. & active membership in at least one US state bar
• 8-12+ years as a practicing attorney with expertise in the healthcare industry
• Proven experience navigating regulatory hurdles of digital health, including multi-state provider licensing
• Experience managing attorneys or legal consultants in a fast-paced environment
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare fraud and abuse laws and FDA requirements
