Healthcare Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

To support healthcare operations, the Healthcare Revenue Accountant will manage multi-facility accounting tasks and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards in a 100% remote, contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and validate journal entries while managing month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Review reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting outputs for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with regional CFOs and finance teams to provide controllership support and streamline accounting operations

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience in healthcare services such as hospitals or surgery centers
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and healthcare revenue/expense accounting
• Experience with revenue recognition standards, specifically ASC 606
• Proven ability to manage or lead accounting teams
• Familiarity with month-end and quarter-end close processes
