Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Credit Balance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze accounts with credit balances to determine the root cause
• Initiate and process refund requests to patients and insurance companies
• Coordinate with payers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing or payment posting
• Knowledge of remittance processing and familiarity with medical billing systems preferred
• Basic knowledge of payer types such as Medicare and Medicaid
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with spreadsheets
