Healthcare Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting a large nonprofit healthcare system, the part-time to full-time Healthcare Revenue Cycle & Billing Specialist will gather, analyze, and prepare complex billing and reimbursement data while working remotely with various internal teams and senior reimbursement consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and organize billing, claims, and revenue cycle data from multiple departments
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain supporting documentation and identify data gaps
• Assist with reimbursement analyses, managed care reviews, and revenue recovery initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare billing, coding, or revenue cycle management
• Experience with hospital systems or healthcare revenue cycle organizations
• Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies and claims processing
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple project priorities
