Job Summary
To support patient scheduling needs, the full-time remote Healthcare Scheduler will manage incoming calls, verify patient information, and schedule appointments while maintaining a high level of customer service in a fast-paced call center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answers incoming calls, prioritizes inquiries, and schedules, cancels, or reschedules patient appointments according to departmental policies
- Obtains and accurately captures patient demographic and insurance information while documenting conversations and resolving escalations
- Collaborates with various departments to coordinate care appointments and manages complex scheduling scenarios
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Two years of data look-up/data entry experience
- Two years of customer service experience involving complex analytical problem-solving skills
- One year of remote work experience
- Experience in Connection Advisor roles or an equivalent combination of education and experience
