Healthcare Scheduler
Job Summary
Coordinating patient appointments and services, the full-time Scheduler for the Cardio Health and Wellness Clinic will manage complex scheduling tasks, verify insurance, and ensure pre-appointment requirements while working onsite with the potential for remote work 1-2 weeks a month after training.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule complex patient appointments, procedures, and tests within the healthcare facility
- Verify insurance and ensure all pre-emptive appointment requirements are obtained
- Collaborate with clinic staff, leadership, and providers to deliver exceptional customer service
Required qualifications
- Scheduling experience preferred, with at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Enhanced knowledge of clinical areas to assess patient appointment needs
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to patients
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
