Job Summary

Seeking several Healthcare Scheduler Customer Service Representatives for a full-time remote contract role, the successful candidates will coordinate care for Veterans by scheduling medical and dental appointments, conducting outreach to Veterans and providers, and managing appointment tracking while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Key responsibilities
  • Contact Veterans to determine scheduling preferences and availability for medical appointments
  • Schedule appointments with in-network providers based on Veteran preferences and track all booked appointments
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally while maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical or health insurance environment
  • 3-4 years of experience in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM and work effectively in a remote environment
