Healthcare Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time Recurring Care Specialist working remotely, the candidate will coordinate nursing care by interfacing with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, managing high volumes of communication and scheduling tasks to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits using proprietary technology and third-party platforms while managing approximately 40 Zendesk tickets and up to 30 inbound calls per shift
• Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacies, and nurses to confirm scheduling details and ensure all necessary documentation is collected
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track data, share insights, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and empathetically
• Highly organized with strong time management skills to handle competing priorities
• Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple platforms, with a strong interest in learning new tools
