Healthcare Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely nationwide, the full-time Healthcare Software Engineer will design, build, and support system integrations using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interface engines while ensuring reliable data exchange between EHR platforms and downstream systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain system integrations to facilitate data exchange between healthcare applications
• Troubleshoot interface issues and ensure timely delivery of clinical and operational data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain stable and secure integration environments

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in interface/integration engineering within healthcare or regulated environments
• 3+ years of experience with HL7 v2, FHIR basics, and RESTful APIs
• 3+ years of experience in message transformations and troubleshooting across environments
• 3+ years of experience in networking, servers, and authentication protocols
• 3+ years of experience with ITIL/Change Management practices and version control systems
