Job Summary
Seeking accomplished healthcare leaders, the part-time Member of the Board of Advisors - Healthcare Startup Founders will provide strategic guidance on market opportunities, partnerships, and investment themes while working remotely to support the growth of a healthcare venture ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Shares' growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy
- Participate in periodic board-related discussions and contribute thoughtful recommendations based on professional expertise
Required qualifications:
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, or related fields
- Senior leadership, board, advisory, or entrepreneurial experience preferred
- Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, or innovation ecosystems
- Ability to provide strategic and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups
- Commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month to board participation and advisory activities
