Healthcare Underwriter

Job Summary

Leading underwriting efforts for complex Healthcare portfolios, the hybrid VP, Senior Underwriter - Healthcare will manage credit actions, assess risks, and provide support to the Healthcare lending team while collaborating with clients and associates.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the underwriting process for Healthcare credit actions, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines while interacting with customers to gather necessary information
• Identifies and manages risks associated with new and existing Healthcare loans, coordinating with bank associates to resolve issues and develop risk management strategies
• Sources and analyzes financial data to support loan structuring and approval, while identifying cross-sales opportunities for new and existing client relationships

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in Commercial Lending or Credit Analysis, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in financial statement spreading, preparation of projections, and trailing twelve-month analysis
• Completion of a formal credit training program is preferred
• Preferred areas of experience include Finance and Banking
