Heat Transport System Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Primary Heat Transport System Design Engineer for a long-term contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design nuclear and industrial process systems and perform analyses to support design
• Provide technical direction and ensure adherence to design codes and regulatory standards
• Generate design packages and support testing programs for system qualification

Required Qualifications and Education

• B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline
• 6+ years of direct experience with mechanical systems
• Experience in complex fluid system design and fluid simulation software
• Previous experience with centrifugal pump and tube and shell heat exchanger design
• Experience writing design specifications for large capital equipment
