Heat Transport System Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Primary Heat Transport System Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design nuclear and industrial process systems and sub-systems from requirements through final design
• Perform analyses in support of design using hand calculations and software methods
• Interface with design teams to create and manage system design documentation, including P&IDs and 3D models

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline
• 6+ years of direct experience in mechanical systems design
• Experience in complex fluid system design and fluid simulation software
• Previous experience with centrifugal pump and tube & shell heat exchanger design and operation
• Experience writing design specifications for large capital equipment
