Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic, the technician will provide maintenance and repair for a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts at our Lafayette, LA facility, utilizing technology to manage work orders and diagnose issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on equipment
• Create, assign, and monitor work orders while maintaining accurate electronic documentation
• Assist in training lower-level technicians and ensure safe job practices are followed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
• Must own tools applicable to the position
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of construction equipment
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical demands of the role
