Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic, the technician will provide maintenance and repair for various heavy equipment and aerial lifts at our Lafayette, LA facility, utilizing technology for efficient diagnostics and work order management.
Key responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
- Utilize technology to create and monitor work orders and track service intervals
- Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Required qualifications
- High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment
- Must own tools applicable to the position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of schematics and diagrams
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
