Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic at our Lafayette, LA facility, the technician will perform maintenance and repair on various heavy equipment and aerial lifts while utilizing advanced technology to monitor work orders and diagnose issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment
• Utilize technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking machine service intervals
• Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain accurate documentation of work performed

Required qualifications

• Must own tools applicable to the position
• High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of construction equipment
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
