Job Summary

To support a growing rental facility, the full-time Heavy Equipment Shop Technician (Mechanic) will perform maintenance and repairs on various heavy equipment and aerial lifts while utilizing technology for efficient workflow in Lafayette, LA.

Key responsibilities

• Practice safe job practices and maintain compliance with OSHA requirements
• Utilize technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders while diagnosing mechanical issues
• Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain accurate documentation of work performed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
• Must own tools applicable to the position
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of construction equipment
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
