Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician, the role based in Lafayette, LA, involves performing maintenance and repair on a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts, utilizing advanced technology to enhance service efficiency and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment
• Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking machine service intervals and ordering parts
• Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain accurate documentation of work performed

Required qualifications

• High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred
• Must own tools applicable to the position
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and extensive knowledge of construction equipment
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
