HEDIS Abstractor

Job Summary

Responsible for the HEDIS Medical Record Review process, the full-time HEDIS Abstractor and Overreader will accurately review and abstract medical records for compliance with HEDIS measure specifications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and abstract clinical data from electronic medical records according to HEDIS technical specifications
• Perform overreads of abstracted medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with measures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and support audit preparation and quality reviews

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience with NCQA HEDIS programs and abstraction
• Proficiency in EMR platforms such as Epic or Cerner
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with Medicare Advantage lines of business and Stars Measures
• Strong Excel and Adobe skills for data management and documentation
