HEDIS Medical Record Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HEDIS Medical Record Analyst - TEMP.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare medical records from EMR/EHR systems for abstraction
• Abstract specified clinical data elements for HEDIS reporting from assigned medical records
• Document retrieval progress and findings, and communicate effectively with provider offices

Required Qualifications

• HEDIS Medical Record experience highly preferred
• Associate degree in Nursing or related field with 3 years of clinical experience
• Experience with medical records and EMR/EHR systems or equivalent education and experience
• Preferred certifications: Valid RN, CPC, or CCS
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and 10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG coding conventions is a plus
