Job Summary
Supporting the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the full-time remote Help Desk Support Technician will assist in providing desktop and operational support, including troubleshooting user issues and maintaining hardware and software systems.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and peripherals while providing remote support to users
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely documentation and follow-up in the ticketing system
- Collaborate with team members on assigned projects and serve as a technical liaison to project managers as needed
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Ability to follow established processes and guidelines to ensure consistent customer experiences
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- Experience with remote desktop software and basic operating system support
- Must successfully complete the CMS client vetting process as a condition of employment
