Job Summary
Providing remote support for the Medicare Provider community, the full-time Help Desk Technician will manage problem reports and service requests, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and maintaining desktop and operational support across various environments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide desktop support and operational assistance to users, including installation and maintenance of hardware and software
- Diagnose and resolve user issues, documenting solutions in the ticketing system and knowledge base
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate new technology into the production support environment
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum of 6 months of production experience in the CMS BOSC program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Experience in customer support or call center environments
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM EST, with flexibility for additional hours as needed
