HEOR/RWE Consultant - Rare Disease

Job Summary

Supporting the evidence strategy for a launched rare disease therapy, the full-time HEOR/RWE Consultant - Rare Disease will act as the day-to-day evidence lead, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape the value narrative and manage patient-centered outcomes workstreams in a remote contract role.

Key responsibilities

• Define the evidence strategy and value narrative for the rare disease therapeutic area, identifying gaps and prioritizing development needs
• Serve as the primary HEOR/RWE contact for cross-functional partners, turning evidence questions into actionable analysis plans
• Design and execute patient-centered outcomes (PRO/COA) work, including real-world data collection and analysis

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MPH, or MSc) in health economics, outcomes research, epidemiology, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in pharma, biotech, or HEOR consulting, with expertise in shaping evidence strategy
• Working fluency in the HEOR/RWE toolkit, including RWE, PRO/COA, and economic modeling
• Hands-on experience with PRO/COA, including endpoint strategy and real-world data analysis
• Experience contributing to value dossiers or HTA/payer submissions
