High Performance Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a High Performance/Distributed Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and support core systems while writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to debugging and testing
• Work across programming languages, particularly Rust, and engage with system-level concerns such as memory management and I/O minimization
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and build secure solutions, proposing implementations and seeking clarity when needed

Required Qualifications:

• Experience or strong interest in Rust and familiarity with systems-level concepts
• Comfortable working within an existing architecture and contributing high-quality components
• Ability to operate autonomously while benefiting from collaboration and guidance
• Curiosity about system behavior and a desire to grow in systems, tooling, or distributed engineering
• Not focused on feature-driven application development or standard API building; emphasizes collaborative research in supercomputing
