High Risk Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting - High Risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze applicants and business models in various credit card processing environments
• Partner with Compliance leaders to enhance processes for onboarding high risk merchants
• Act as an escalation point for decision-making and provide recommendations for internal/external customers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in High Risk Underwriting within merchant services
• At least 2 years of team leadership experience in the Merchant Payments industry
• Advanced knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit risk assessments
• Experience in managing multiple projects with minimal supervision
