High School Language Arts Teacher

Job Summary

A virtual public charter school is seeking a High School Language Arts Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions for instructional program support
• Provide prompt, personalized feedback on assignments and update pacing plans/schedules
• Review curriculum, modify courses, and develop enrichment activities to promote student achievement

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state teaching certificate in Arkansas for Grades 9-12 English
• Completion of traditional teacher preparation program at an accredited college or university
• Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
• Timely feedback to students and adherence to required grading timeframe
• Availability to work full-time during core English hours
