Seeking a freelance Subject Matter Expert, the contracted High School Social Media Course Writer will develop engaging curriculum for a one-semester course focused on social media and visual media analysis, working remotely and leveraging a background in digital literacy and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and write 4-8 units of study, each consisting of 5500 - 7500 words, tailored for high school students
• Ensure course content aligns with educational standards and is presented in an engaging style suitable for 13 to 17-year-olds
• Collaborate with a remote team, utilizing various technologies to facilitate curriculum development

Required qualifications

• Teaching experience at the high school or community college level
• Strong background in Digital Literacy and Marketing
• Experience with state educational standards
• Proven ability to write in an engaging and conversational style
• Curriculum planning experience
