Job Summary
Safety-focused and detail-oriented, the full-time High Voltage Technician will learn to install, repair, and commission high voltage cable systems while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all applicable safety and environmental rules and regulations
- Learn the installation of high voltage cables and perform cable preparation methodologies
- Assist in the receiving, inspection, packaging, and shipping of HV accessories and components
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn electrical and mechanical theory related to high voltage systems
- Must attain certification from at least one accessory manufacturer within one year
- Willingness to participate in necessary training and workshops to improve trade skills
- Ability to interpret single-line and bonding diagrams
- Experience or ability to learn installation techniques for bonding systems
