Higher Education Campaign Director

Job Summary

Higher Education Campaign Director will be a full-time position responsible for organizing and mobilizing members towards student debt cancellation and free college initiatives, while developing leadership opportunities and engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic higher education campaign plans in coordination with staff organizers
• Onboard and engage student debtors and allies in the fight for free college and broader Debt Collective goals
• Manage and supervise staff organizers, facilitating leadership development and tracking member engagement

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years as a labor or community organizer
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead organizer, supervising staff
• Experience leading a successful campaign from start to finish
• Understanding of structure-based organizing
• Self-directed with strong organizational skills
