Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIM Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate third-party onsite visits and assist with administrative tasks
Retrieve medical records and fulfill various types of record requests
Assist with chart merge and deletion process, and sort and scan mail

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in medical record keeping or health information preferred
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification a plus
Working knowledge of routine medical practices and procedures
Knowledge of computers and software programs related to medical records
Must comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations
