HIMS Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a HIMS Technician to maintain and preserve confidential electronic health records remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine releases of health information in compliance with policies and regulations
• Review and analyze health information for record completion and deficiencies
• Provide customer service related to HIMS functions to various stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• One or more years of post-high school education in medical records and information systems or equivalent experience
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written formats
• Strong technical skills in software applications and databases
• Knowledgeable in accessing and utilizing EHR systems
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
