Hindi Localization Proofreader
Job Summary
To enhance the user experience for Hindi learners, the contract Hindi Localization Proofreader will localize marketing and product copies, collaborate with team members, and contribute to style guide development while working remotely from anywhere in the world.
Key responsibilities
- Localize all marketing and product copies to ensure accuracy and alignment with style guidelines
- Attend meetings to discuss translations and maintain consistency in style, tone, and vocabulary
- Develop in-house style guides for Hindi to ensure engaging and compelling content for the audience
Required qualifications
- Native fluency in Hindi and full professional fluency in English
- 3+ years of experience in translating, transcreation, proofreading, and/or copywriting for a Hindi audience
- Experience localizing online, mobile, and/or game products
- A portfolio of past work demonstrating expertise in localization
- Strong interest in the mission of the organization
