HIPAA Cloud Data Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cloud Data Architect & Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design HIPAA-compliant data architectures using AWS-native services and lead the migration of legacy healthcare data systems to AWS
• Build and maintain secure, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate healthcare data into centralized data lakes and warehouses
• Implement real-time data streaming and ensure data quality, lineage, and governance using AWS tools

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years on AWS
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD-10)
• Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and Kinesis
• Experience with SQL, Python, and Spark in cloud environments
