Job Summary
A company is looking for a HIPAA Compliance Officer (100% Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and update HIPAA compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective actions
- Monitor compliance activities, investigate suspected breaches, and provide training to staff on HIPAA regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience as a HIPAA Compliance Officer
- Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations, including Privacy Rule and Security Rule
- Legal knowledge and ability to interpret complex regulations
- Experience implementing a HIPAA compliance program from start to finish is preferred
