HIPAA Compliance Privacy Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Analyst, Out of Network.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and evaluates reported privacy incidents to determine if they constitute a reportable breach
• Maintains reports and compiles data on investigated privacy incidents for quarterly reporting
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA regulations and provides education and training to team members

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in privacy or compliance within a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of the negotiation process and relevant privacy regulations
• Ability to use software related to job responsibilities, including MS Office Suites
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
